Re:         Santa Cruz Sentinel runs story on First Alarm Security & Patrol, Inc certification

On Saturday, April 14 the Santa Cruz Sentinel ran a business brief in their newspaper on First Alarm Security & Patrol, Inc becoming the first CALSAGA Certified Security Services Provider in California.

As you know, First Alarm Security & Patrol, Inc was evaluated by an independent auditor who looked at general policy and procedures, ethical and business practices and information and record management in order to become certified.

Established in 2006, the Certified Security Services Provider Program is designed to provide a comprehensive evaluation that demonstrates a security firm’s commitment to a higher standard of service – the best of the best.  In order for a security firm to become certified, they are required to undergo an audited, independent review against standards that exceed state requirements.  The review includes an on-site evaluation to determine compliance with best practices.
