2008 CALSAGA Annual Conference – the time to register is now!

By now, all members should have received their printed copy of the 2008 CALSAGA Annual Conference brochure.  If not, click here to view the conference webpage and find out how you can register.  With so much at stake in California for security companies, this is not the year to miss! 

The 2008 CALSAGA Annual Conference “Navigating Dangerous Waters,” will be held at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek Hotel & Spa in Santa Rosa on November 6-7.   This year’s conference will focus on the regulatory and political challenges facing the security industry. 

Confirmed speakers include, Vicki Bradshaw, Secretary of the California Labor & Workforce Development Agency, Chris Kahn, Legislative Secretary and Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Assemblyman Ted Gaines, who represents the fourth Assembly District in California. 

There will also be several events prior to the conference including the 2nd Annual CALSAGA Golf Tournament and the Security Officer Memorial Fund Cocktail Reception, which will feature some of the finest local wine as part of our Wine Tasting Tour of Sonoma County. 

Please reserve your hotel room as soon as possible as the deadline to confirm your room is October 5.  Additionally, the final day for the early bird registration rate is October 13.  The special rate of $159 at the hotel will fill up fast, and the early bird rate won’t last forever, so take care of both today before it’s too late!
