Recap from Region VI Luncheon – April 2

On April 2, Region VI Director Bill Hunt hosted nearly 40 members and non-members for a luncheon designed to create networking opportunities and so that folks could learn more about CALSAGA and the current issues surrounding the security industry. 

CALSAGA President Roy Rahn gave a “State of CALSAGA” report and reached out to everyone about the May Legislative day at the Capitol and the PAC receptions on May 6-7.  Members were very enthusiastic about CALSAGA’s efforts on meal period reform and several indicated that had written support letters to legislators on our bills. 

Due to the success, Region VI is considering another event to be scheduled some time in September.  For Regional Directors interested in hosting an event in your area or if members have ideas on topics for an event in your region, CALSAGA staff and board members are happy to assist you.
