A few months into the 2009 legislative session, things are starting to heat up at the State Capitol. The February 27 deadline to introduce new legislation has come and gone and bills are now awaiting their first committee hearing. An astounding 2700 bills were introduced this legislative session, which is an incredible number even for California.

| CALSAGA PAC Reception and Legislator of the Year Breakfast |
CALSAGA will be hosting a Political Action Committee (PAC) Reception on May 6, 2009 at Morton’s Steakhouse in Sacramento from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The Reception will raise money to support legislators that support and acknowledge the security industry.
