2009 ASIS International Seminar and Exhibits Conference rapidly approaching Planning on attending the 2009 ASIS International Seminar and Exhibits Conference on September 21-24 in Anaheim? While the event is still a ways off, the planning for the event is in full swing. In fact, CALSAGA is teaming up with the National Association of Security Companies (NASCO) in co-sponsoring a booth at the summit and NASCO is hosting their 19th Annual Private Security Breakfast on Tuesday, September 22. Specific details will be forthcoming, but as a CALSAGA member, we want to make sure you save the date. The breakfast will be an excellent opportunity for CALSAGA members to mingle with members of NASCO and to learn more about the issues impacting private security companies on the federal level, as well as hear from regulatory representatives from California. We are working on a special “CALSAGA member rate” that we hope will encourage members to attend. Part of the purpose here is to encourage interaction between statewide associations and NASCO. We believe by forging relationships, we help strengthen the overall voice of the industry. For now, if you think you might be interested in attending, please email William Hodges at whodges@calsaga.org or Tory Smith at NASCO tory@nasco.org. The NASCO Annual Breakfast has a rich history of excellent programs and we hope that you will be part of it!
