Welcome Connie Trujillo

On behalf of our Board of Directors, staff and membership, CALSAGA would like to welcome Connie Trujillo, new Deputy Chief of the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS).

Ms. Trujillo replaces former Deputy Chief Rick Fong, and will manage the agency’s consumer protection, licensing and enforcement regulation for the private security industry, among the other industries BSIS regulates. 

Ms. Trujillo has over 30 years experience in the consumer industry.  She started her career at Contractors State License Board as an investigator and was successful at establishing the Application Investigation Unit.  The Unit provided statewide training for the department, and developed procedures to process complaints submitted through the internet.

CALSAGA has been in contact with Ms. Trujillo and we are looking forward to working with her to tell her more about our industry and association, and to communicate our willingness to assist her as she transitions into her new role.  We are also working to have her speak at a future CALSAGA event where the entire membership can meet her. 

We look forward to working with Ms. Trujillo to continue to improve and professionalize the industry.
