Governor announces new BSIS Chief

As you may have seen, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger recently appointed Jeffrey Mason as Chief of the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services.  Mr. Mason fills a void left by former BSIS Chief Paul Johnson who retired in January 2009.  Connie Trujillo, who was serving as Acting Chief since Johnson’s retirement will return to her role as Deputy Chief.

CALSAGA leadership will be meeting with the new Chief in the very near future and we hope to introduce him to our membership at a future event.  CALSAGA has enjoyed a long-standing tradition of developing a positive rapport between our organization and the Bureau and we hope that continues moving forward with Mr. Mason.
