| Democratic and Republican leadership tentatively agree on budget |
After months of negotiating, it appears Democratic and Republican leadership have finally struck a deal to close California’s projected $40 billion budget shortfall. Although details of the agreement are still unclear, one would assume that both Democrats and Republicans made significant concessions with tax hikes and spending cuts.

The National Association of Security Companies (NASCO) recently held its General Membership and Board of Directors meetings at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York City. NASCO also sponsored a CEO Roundtable where industry leaders gathered to discuss a variety of important issues critical to the contract security industry today.
