Legislative update

With just a few weeks to go in the 2008 legislative session, CALSAGA continues to lobby aggressively for reform of the on-duty meal period rules for the security industry.  Despite the ongoing commotion between legislators on how to solve the State’s budgetary woes, CALSAGA is pressing forward attempting to make progress in negotiating a deal. 

A lot more work needs to be done over the course of the next few weeks and we are hopeful that a deal is within reach.

2008 Annual Conference approaching

It is hard to believe, but the 2008 CALSAGA Annual Conference is just around the corner!  Our staff is already gearing up in preparation to make this the most informative and enjoyable conference experience yet.  This year’s conference, “Navigating Dangerous Waters”, will focus on the regulatory and political challenges facing the security industry.
