We look forward to seeing all of our members at the 2011 CALSAGA Annual Conference next week in beautiful San Francisco.  If you haven’t signed up for the conference yet, or need more information, please call our office today.  It’s not too late to get registered!

Our CALSAGA Preferred Insurance Broker, Shaun Kelly of TWIW Insurance Services, will be hosting a reception on Thursday night, October 6 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.  We hope you will stop by to meet Shaun and mingle with your fellow attendees before heading to the Gala Dinner later that evening.  The reception is included in your conference registration.

At the reception this year, we will be making an appeal to all attendees to support our CALSAGA-sponsored Political Action Committee – Security PAC.  Security PAC is our vehicle to support legislators who have been friends to CALSAGA and the contract private security industry. 

While this donation will be voluntary, the importance of you making a donation at this event cannot be understated.  2012 is a General Election year and there is a lot at stake, meaning CALSAGA will need to step up its level of contributions to maintain our political clout.  Quite simply, we need your help.

Click here to download a Security PAC contribution form.  As you make your way to San Francisco for the conference, please consider if you can contribute $100, $250, $500 or more.  We understand that times are difficult financially, but I can ensure you every contribution makes a difference.  For those that are unable to make it to the conference, I ask you as well to consider how much you might be able to give. 

We have all asked ourselves from time to time, “Why don’t more people with common sense get elected to the State Legislature?”  By pooling our money at Security PAC, we can help make sure that more people who support good business and good security get elected next year.
