BSIS no longer accepting monetary transactions at public counter

As of April 5, the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services (BSIS) is no longer accepting monetary transactions at the public counter located at 2420 Del Paso Blvd, Suite, 270, Sacramento, CA 95834.  This impacts licensees who want to make payments in person or through a third party delivery service such as FedEx.  

All payments moving forward can be made in person or mailed to the Department of Consumers Affairs (DCA), Cashering Unit, 1625 North Market Blvd, Suite S-100, Sacramento, CA 95834.  Licensees who use the U.S. Postal Service are still encouraged to send payment using the P.O. Box listed on top of all Bureau paperwork.  That address is BSIS, P.O. Box 989002, West Sacramento, CA 95798.

The Bureau hopes that this change will create greater efficiency and greatly reduce the processing time of transactions.
