CALSAGA is the only industry association in California dedicated to advocating on behalf of the security industry in the Legislature and at the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services (BSIS) to make sure your voice is heard. The organization has led efforts over the past several years to bring greater accountability in licensing, training and background screening standards that has made California a national leader in security. From small firms to some of the largest private security companies in the world, our legislative successes are due largely in part to our strength in numbers.
The CALSAGA Board of Directors meets every other month for formal board meetings alternating between Northern and Southern California. Board members are elected by the general membership for a two year term at the CALSAGA Annual Conference. The current board is serving as the 2013-2014 Board of Directors.
The Executive Board is comprised of the President, Northern California Vice President, Southern California Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.
The CALSAGA membership is divided into eight regions spanning the entire state of California. Each region has a director, and the directors are responsible for representing respective regions at board meetings, holding annual region meetings and serving as the general daily contact and guidance for their members.
