Over the last decade there has been a dramatic increase in legislation related to private and proprietary security. CALSAGA continues to aggressively advance our legislative advocacy efforts, including employing a full-time lobbyist in Sacramento.
CALSAGA plans quarterly seminars in Northern and Southern California on the issues that are important to our members and their businesses as well as regional meetings to provide platforms to discuss local industry matters. Our Annual Conference brings together industry experts and private security companies to discuss topics concerning the security industry, and provides members with the opportunity to network with peers from across the state.
CALSAGA offers a complete training program to help Private Patrol Operators (PPO) comply with AB 2880 training regulations, as well a full program for Proprietary Security Employers (PSE) to train their officers. In addition to the training modules, CALSAGA also offers an online database system to track your officers' training and print out serialized certificates.
